This Week's Topic

⚡️ Key Points in 30 Seconds

  • Dining out with food allergies poses many challenges.
  • You can teach your patients how to be prepared to dine out SAFELY despite their food allergies.
  • This course is for you, and your patients are welcome to access it too!

Hi there!

Did you know that many patients with food allergies report some form of anxiety regarding their allergies? One common stressor I find in talking with families is the concern about dining out safely.

To help address this concern, I spoke at the 2023 AAAAI conference on this topic, specifically teaching other healthcare professionals how to work with families on dining out safely. I focused on strategies that could efficiently be shared with patients.

I had just had my second baby 👶, so the presentation was pre-recorded. I saved it and now have it posted as a course for you!

And feel free to share it with your patients! Even though it's directed toward healthcare professionals, it's absolutely on the level of food allergy parents too! Plus it's FREE. 🙌

Happy Friday!

Warmly,

Alice
