Dr. Alice Hoyt

Happy Friday!

Okay, what's the deal with seed oils? And food dyes? If you are like me, you've been wanting some unbiased, evidence-based information around these topics. So here it is!

Molly Kimball, RD, is a force of nature. Founder of Ochsner Eat Fit (a healthy eating program in New Orleans - yes, you CAN eat healthy here and still eat good food 😋) and just a lovely human, Molly came on my Food Allergy and Your Kiddo podcast to share the facts on eating clean versus over-restriction.

This fun conversation - while recorded with food allergy parents in mind - is a great discussion for clinicians to hear!

Reply with your thoughts!

Have a great weekend,
Alice

Food Allergy Friday NewsletterDr. Alice Hoyt Hi there, For this week’s Food Allergy Friday, here’s the question I hear often from general pediatricians:“Should we screen babies before early peanut introduction?” Based on current evidence and expert consensus — including the consensus document by Fleischer et al., JACI: In Practice, 2021 — the answer is no:➡️ Routine screening (skin testing or ...
